In the 1820 edition of Keatss poems, the words Beauty is truth, truth beauty were enclosed in quotation marks, and the poem is often reprinted that way. It is now generally agreed, however, on the basis of contemporary transcripts of Keatss poem, that Keats intended the entire last two lines to be spoken by the urn.
