Most of us have participated in a fitness program in gym class or a group exercise session. The instruction was most likely sufficient however not necessarily optimal. Fewer individuals have had significant formal education in the area of youth fitness programs and program design. Safe and successful youth fitness programs require a strong teaching emphasis, correct supervision, careful instruction, and appropriate program design. In your opinion what do you feel the appropriate teaching tools and program design components are that one can incorporate into a youth fitness program?
