Find a journal article within this topic area for you to write a review about (Personality Disorders).
The first 1/3 of your paper should be devoted to telling the reader about the broad topic area
(about 400 words).
5. The second 3rd should be a summary of the journal article you chose (about 400 words).
6. The final 3rd should be your reaction to the journal article (again, about 400 words). What did
you think about the article? Why is the topic important? Was the article good? Feel free to criticise the article. This is a place for you to express freely your thoughts about the topic/journal article rather than simply reporting on something.
Your essay should be 1200 words, double-spaced, in some standard font. You should have a title, headings to guide the reader, and, yes, references at the end. Minimally, you should have a reference for your journal article and also for broad topic area source or sources.
It is integral in order to gain the highest marks that, whichever question you decide to answer, you provide evidence in the form of research within your answer. This evidence must come from peer-reviewed journal articles. Your mark will be capped for the use of inappropriate sources. Conducting appropriate journal article searches will be covered in the module where necessary. Essentially in order to gain the highest mark/grade for both of these questions you need to show evidence of the following:
An understanding of the question asked.
An understanding of the theories/research provided in the answer.
A critical understanding of the theories/research provided in the answer.
