The main aim of this research will be to collect online data for the study of alcohol and its impacts on mental health in non-clinical samples.
More specifically, the objectives of this study are:
To determine how alcohol use can affect psychiatric symptoms such as: depression, anxiety, and stress.This study will use quantitative methods in order to investigated the aforementioned aims. A convenience sample of approximately 100 participants will be recruited via two methods: 1) online data collection using the following social networking websites: Facebook and Twitter to sample Internet users; and 2) offline data collection using paper-and-pencil methods to recruit a student sample.
