Part III INSTRUCTIONS: Methods, Results and Discussion (100 points)
This is the last part of the three-part paper. This portion describes what you did and what the outcomes were. Most importantly, it discusses the implications of the findings for the field. You are submitting a full 3-part paper, not just this portion.
Abstract: write a 1-2 paragraph abstract, which is a complete summary of the project, including topic statement, 1 sentence overview of problem, method (i.e., sampling, measures used, and procedure), and results.

L Collins- completed parenting 4/14/2016- reunified 6/10/2016 and case closed with courts 2/10/2017
J Welch- same as above- he was the father and they remained together
T Wise- completed parenting 5/23/2016- also had substance abuse issues however reunified successfully on 3/24/2017
T Chester- completed parenting 5/23/2016- reunified on 8/4/2016- case closed with the courts today 3/27/2017
L Tolliver- completed parenting 5/23/2016- reunified on 10/12/2016- has been filed to close the case out in April

Describe the characteristics of the sample/person
Parents that have completed the YFA West Care Nurturing Parent Class at the same time and currently have an opened involved DCF Case Plan will be asked if they would like to participate in this current study. The voluntary participants who agree to enroll in the study will
be given an informed consent form that describes the nature of this study, confidentiality and the information regarding their right to withdrawal from this study.
L Collins- Mother came home on 08/31/15 intoxicated and forgot her keys waking up the children. An altercation between L. Collins and husband J Welch occurred at which time L Collins was pulling her daughter out of her husbands arms injuring the child.

T Wise: On 09/01/2015 T Wise was under the influence of alcohol and had an altercation with her teenage daughter choking and pulling her daughters hair which caused the teenage daughter to loose patches of her hair due to the altercation
T Chester: 11/04/2015 Mother and ex-boyfriend engaged in a physical altercation in front of the child.
L Tolliver On 03/11/16 a search warrant was conducted at the residence and the M was present. The mother and father were taken into custody by law enforcement and charged with arm trafficking cocaine, grand theft and other criminal charges.
