Abnormal Psychology. Panic Attack

Question
Watch the video about what its like to have a panic attack. What would you say or do for someone experiencing a panic attack? How would you try to help them? Give at least three pieces of advice based on the textbook as well as the video case study subjects advice.
———————————————————————————————————————–
1. This video shows the case study of Jennifer, who displays classic symptoms of OCD

2. In this video, a young man describes his experience of panic attacks. His description generally follows the classic textbook description, but it may be more interesting to hear it from someone speaking from experience.

Module 2 DQ
Watch the Module 2 Case Study of OCD showing the patient Jennifer, and bring us another case study on the internet (there are many on YouTube). Although every case is different, there are some common themes that appear more often, like dirt or contamination, violence and aggression, orderliness, religion, and sexuality (see p. 127 of the textbook). Why do you think that these topics may be more likely to be the focus of obsessions or compulsions?

Module 2 AS
There is a question based on the Module 2 Case Study of Panic Attack.
